World-Wide Read-Aloud

Capitol students are so lucky because librarian Pam Alexander helped her students take part in experiencing a world-wide read-aloud that also incorporated Bully Prevention! Author Joe Troiano read his book, The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin aloud to students around the world on Wednesday. Mrs. Alexander incorporated her new Interactive Flat Panel to captivate her audience and teach with! Spookley is a square pumpkin who lives in a round pumpkin patch. Spookley helps learners discover that the things that make us different are the things that make us special. Students followed up their lesson by making a pumpkin that was not so ordinary!
