GT Projects

Capitol Gifted and Talented students presented their GT projects to parents yesterday. Their work represented the entire semester. Second graders studied the differences in autobiographies and biographies with Librarian Mrs. Alexander before writing their own autobiography and then researching anyone they wanted to and writing a biography about that person. Third graders are wise beyond their years, as they are already learning about digital photography and video presentations. Third graders learned the ins and outs of video production after interviewing people about subjects they were interested in. And fourth graders learned about narrative writing with Counselor Mrs. Barbara Utley. They turned their narrative story into mosaics to help tell their story and to celebrate Levelland being the City of Mosaics! It was a great way of showing off so much learning at Capitol!
