PE Classes Compete in Ninja Challenge

Capitol Elementary students attending PE classes with Mrs. Kristy Sanders have been working on a Jump Rope Ninja skills challenge! Each grade level had a set number of consecutive jumps to attempt to earn a “belt” of a different color. The challenge numbers increase with each grade level. Students signed the Challenge Board in the color that matched the level they achieved. The students pictured are the winning students from each grade level. The first-grade winner completed 41 consecutive jumps, the second-grade winner completed 75 consecutive jumps, and there were two third-grade students who jumped to 100 and 125 jumps! The picture collages are of the various jumping and jump rope stations that students worked on while in PE class. Kudos to Mrs. Sanders for her creative thinking on keeping her students physically fit.
