STAAR Information Nights

Capitol Elementary third grade teachers, Counselor Robin Forsythe, and Principal Joanna Runkles hosted a Capitol STAAR Parent Information Nights for parents wanting to learn more about how the STAAR test is administered. Mrs. Forsythe used the analogy that STAAR test is just like an annual check-up for your child, telling you how strong their reading and math skills are. Students taught their parents how amazing the test is going to be using the new iPads. Students are learning all the technology strategies on the iPads that will enable them to be fully engaged in answering the questions on both tests successfully. Capitol and South third graders will be using the iPads for testing in May. #LevellandISD
