GT Students Present Research

Capitol students in the Gifted and Talented program presented their spring research projects to parents! Mrs. Kristi Chase's first-graders created their own traditional holiday, completing research on how it would be celebrated and giving their holiday their own special date. Mrs. Pam Alexander's second-graders completed their research on someone they admired, completing a pizza box biography on each person. Mrs. Kristy VanZandt's third-graders researched all the criteria needed to create a small business, including a graphic, an advertisement, marketing, and a jingle! These kids were amazingly calm as they stood up in front of everyone to speak about their projects. Great job Capitol kids and teachers!
