GT Presentations

Capitol Gifted and Talented students proudly presented their GT research to parents and friends this week! These scholars researched, studied, designed, practiced, and then delivered impressive oral presentations, which is no small task, even for adults!
Fourth graders engineered and designed their own food trucks after sampling dishes from real food trucks in downtown Levelland. They explored engineering concepts, learned to manage budgets, created menus, and even experienced taking out a $10,000 startup loan from a bank.
Third graders dove into Texas Historic Sites, discovering their history and why they still matter today.
Second graders studied habitats and animals, invented their own creative creatures, and then selected three real habitats and animals to research and present to the crowd.
Speaking confidently in front of an audience is an invaluable life skill! These students are mastering it early. Great job, Capitol kids!
