Capitol Elementary

We are deep into the Winter Olympics, and so are our Capitol students! In Mrs. Sanders’ PE classes, students are staying active while learning about current events through fun, movement-based activities. Students explored the history of the Olympics and learned about the various winter events taking place worldwide. Then they put their knowledge into action by competing in Olympic-inspired activities, including mock curling, a mock Alpine skiing race, and a mock Olympic torch relay. This is so fun! We are so thankful to have Mrs. Sanders and her out-of-the-box PE activities that keep kids moving!
