Math Winner
Capitol Elementary proudly congratulates 4th grader Lorenzo Chavaria for placing 4th in the Math Contest at Harmony Science Academy in Lubbock this morning. Lorenzo competed against 16 other students and successfully solved at least 40 math problems in just an hour and a half. His math teacher, Mrs. Linda Johnson, is incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication Lorenzo has shown to compete at this level. This was Lorenzo’s second year to participate in the competition, improving from a 7th place finish last year to 4th place this year. Way to go, Lorenzo! We are proud of you!
