5th Grade Science

Capitol 5th graders are discovering the power of magnetism in Mrs. DeLuna's science class! Through hands-on investigations, students explored magnetic force and learned that magnets can push or pull objects without even touching them. Students used hands-on activities to tangify an invisible force, turning something they can’t see into something they can observe, test, and understand. They experimented with magnetic materials, made predictions, tested their ideas, and discovered how opposite poles attract while like poles repel. They weren’t just learning science vocabulary; they were experiencing science! When students can touch it, test it, question it, and discover it for themselves, that’s real learning! Thank you, Mrs. DeLuna, for helping our 5th graders build curiosity, problem-solving skills, and find their future!
